Hello, I’m Jen Taylor! I am a Wedding planner who enthusiastically partners with people who want to learn about planning so they flourish in their new wedding planning business! I started my first business Taylor’d Events Group in 2005, like many of you started because I helped my friends with their wedding day and when I got married realized with help from my wedding planner that this was a job and I was good at.
I love helping my wedding clients create a wedding that they love, I am now am in my 12th year in business and have 4 planners working for the company and we have help 100’s of clients throughout the Pacific Northwest and Maui. Seven years ago, I help co-found Wedding Network USA, I am currently the Director of Education for this wonderful group.
But my true calling was helping other wedding planners with their business, which then became teaching new wedding planners at a local community college, then after a few years, I decided to make it an online class and The Wedding Planning Educator and The Taylor’d Plan came to life! The Wedding Planner Educator I hope will help new and seasoned planners alike with various products and services that will fit what they will need in growing their business. More on that in upcoming posts.
Personally, I live outside of Seattle, Washington with my husband, we love to travel to Maui and around the Pacific Northwest. No kids and no pets, which makes the above statement a lot easier. My favorite meal is at Mama’s Fish House on Maui and I will always order a glass of Schramsberg sparkling wine when I see it on a menu. I love my Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners and at some point, will find time to get back into a few hobbies.
